# Shipping & Delivery Policy

Thank you for choosing Alarme Atlas for your home or business security needs. We take great care in packaging and shipping our security equipment to ensure it arrives safely and ready for installation.
### Order Processing Time
- Orders are typically processed within **1–3 business days** (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST may be processed the next business day.
- Custom or large system orders (e.g., multi-camera setups, commercial packages) may require **3–7 business days** for processing due to configuration and quality checks.
### Shipping Methods & Delivery Times (Domestic – Canada)
We currently ship within **Canada** using trusted carriers (Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, or Purolator depending on size, value, and location).

**Free shipping threshold: We offer **free standard shipping** on orders over **$500** (before taxes). Subject to change—check during checkout.
### Shipping to Quebec & Other Provinces
- Most orders ship from our warehouse in [Your City/Province] or partner fulfillment centers.
- Quebec residents: Please allow **1 extra business day** for local delivery in many cases.
### International Shipping
We currently do **not** ship outside of Canada.
### Important Notes for Security Equipment
- All packages containing high-value items (cameras, control panels, complete systems) require **signature confirmation** and include **shipping insurance**.
- We use **discreet packaging** whenever possible to protect your privacy.
- Fragile electronic components are double-boxed and protected with anti-static materials.
### Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Shipments
- **Tracking** is provided for all orders. Please monitor your tracking number.
- If your package is marked "delivered" but you have not received it → contact us within **48 hours** so we can start a carrier investigation.
- **Damaged or defective items** must be reported within **7 days** of delivery with photos of the damage/packaging. We will arrange for repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with our **Return Policy**.
- Once the package leaves our facility, risk of loss passes to the carrier. We assist with claims but are not responsible for carrier delays or loss after shipment.
### Installation Services
Our **professional installation** is a separate service and **not** included with hardware purchases unless explicitly stated. Installation scheduling occurs after hardware delivery and is subject to technician availability in your area.
### Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top indicates the last revision. Continued use of our site after changes constitutes acceptance.
